Shoe making experiment with CNC

This is a experiment of using CNC machine on shoe making. For this project I wanted to make a wooden sole for a shoe that has a very complex form. I also CNC an aluminum mold for the rubber pad modeling. I built the 3d model in Rhino and used HSM works in the Fusion 360 for the CAM programming. The wooden sole is a piece maple cut with Tormach CNC.I lathed 12 one inch extension wood rods and attached them to the CNC part. In the end I believe that the one without the one inch extension looks better proportionally.
